Two vehicles crash on Braidfauld Street as London Road reduced to one lane

Two vehicles have crashed on Braidfauld Street, leading to London Road being reduced to one lane.

Police were called to the incident in Glasgow's east end at 7.50pm and Braidfauld Street remains closed.

Emergency services remain on the scene and it's not clear at this stage whether anyone's been injured.

Police Scotland confirmed to Glasgow Live: "Police were called around 7.50pm following the report of a two vehicle road crash on Braidfauld Street at its junction with London Road, Glasgow.

"Emergency services are currently in attendance and the extent of injuries is not yet known.

"The road is currently closed."

Glasgow City Council's Traffic Control and Management team (TRAFFCOM) earlier advised: "Due to an RTC, London Road westbound is reduced to one lane at Braidfauld Street.

"Drivers are advised to pass with caution.

"The lane will remain closed until vehicle recovery can be completed."

UPDATE 9:23pm: TRAFFCOM have advised London Road is now fully open again.
