Emergency services were called out to a two-vehicle smash in Old Swan.
The incident involving a Delta private hire vehicle and a white van took place at around 11.30am today (Saturday).
It happened at the junction of St Oswald's Street and Prescot Road, near the Old Swan Tesco store.

Both vehicles were left badly damaged after the head-on collision, but nobody was reported to be injured.
The Delta taxi mounted the pavement at the junction and its airbags were activated.
Police sent up a temporary closure at the scene while the vehicles were cleared.
It happened close to an existing road closure set up last week after a massive sink hole caused water mains to burst and a section of road to collapse.
