Two mystery South Ayrshire men have won a life changing £10,000 a month for a year, each, on the same day.
The lucky men, known only as Mr. M and Mr. B, won the prizes by matching the five main numbers in the Set For Life draw on Monday August 17.
A spokesperson for the National Lottery said: "Mr. M's first purchase was a new pair of sandals for a pending holiday he plans to take following his win, while Mr. B is set to buy a new home.
"Mr. M chose a Lucky Dip to play Set For Life on The National Lottery website and Mr. B opted for a personal selection of random numbers on The National Lottery app."
The South Ayrshire residents have become "two of eight million players that win each week on The National Lottery’s range of games."
Interactive winners have the opportunity to release their name, remain anonymous or like these winners, release some details through partial publicity.
Camelot’s Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said, “Huge congratulations to both Mr. B and Mr. M for winning these fantastic prizes. After a few simple clicks, they have both become winners and can now look forward to receiving £10,000 every month for a year.”
Set For Life is a draw-based game from The National Lottery. You pick five main numbers from 1 to 47, and one ‘Life Ball’ from 1 to 10, for the chance to win fixed prizes – with everything from the top prize of £10,000 a month for 30 years, to the 2nd prize of £10,000 a month for one year to £5 for matching just two main numbers.
The Set For Life game costs £1.50 per line and is drawn every Monday and Thursday.
