Two romping rabbits were nearly ridden over by a stampede of horses at Dundalk racecourse on Friday evening.
The pair were enjoying themselves close to the winning post but had to abandon their lovemaking when seven thoroughbreds came galloping down the track.
They got away just in time with seconds to spare, running off to safety and presumably finding somewhere a bit more private.

The 6.45pm race at the Louth venue continued without them and it went the way of 2-1 favourite Sky Seven with jockey Ronan Whelan on board.
But the limelight was definitely stolen by the two rabbits who lived up to the animal's frisky reputation.
Horse racing pundit Kevin Blake said: "You think you’ve seen it all in horse racing, then you see two rabbits getting caught in the act in the middle of a race at Dundalk."
