Two people rushed to hospital after horror crash as cops close Scots road for three hours

Two people were rushed to hospital following a horror crash on a Scots road yesterday.

Emergency services scrambled to the B942 at the junction of the B9171 in Anstruther, Fife after the crash happened at around 1pm on Sunday, June 20.

Ambulance crews attended and two casualties were taken to hospital for treatment.

Their condition is not yet known.

The road was closed until around 4pm.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were called around 1pm on Sunday, 20 June, to a report of a road crash involving two cars on the B942 at the junction of the B9171, Anstruther.

"Two people were taken to hospital and the road was closed.

"It re-opened fully around 4pm."
