Two more arrests have been made as gardai continue to probe the kidnap and torture of Quinn chief Kevin Lunney .
Mr Lunney was abducted, savagely beaten and left for dead after being pulled from his jeep near his Co Fermanagh home and driven across the border in Co Cavan on September 17.
He was repeatedly cut and slashed across the face and body with a Stanley knife, doused in bleach and beaten with a wooden post in a horrific attack which is said to have lasted two-and-a-half hours.
A man, aged 25, was arrested in the Dublin region for an offence contrary to Section 73 of the Criminal Justice Act 2006.
He is being detained at Irishtown Garda Station.
Another man, 66, has been arrested in Co Cavan for an offence contrary to Section 72 of the Criminal Justice Act 2006.
He is being held at Monaghan Garda Station.
It follows two other arrests earlier today.
Two men were detained, both in Dublin, for an offence contrary to Section 73 of the Criminal Justice Act 2006.
They are being held at Ballymun and Finglas Garda Stations.
A Garda statement read: "An Garda Síochána is not providing any further information at this time.
"An Garda Síochána continues to appeal to any person who has any information, no matter how insignificant it appears, on this vicious criminal attack or any other criminal activities which have taken place in the Cavan/Fermanagh border area over recent years to contact An Garda Síochána at Cavan Garda Station 049 4368800, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111, Crime Stoppers on 1800 25 00 25 or any Garda Station."
