Two men killed in Highland car crash named as Terence Noble and Christopher Giles

Police have named two men who tragically died in a car crash in the .

Terence Noble, 36, from Macduff, Aberdeenshire, and Christopher Giles, 39, from the Blackpool area, passed away following the one-vehicle smash at Inverdruie near Aviemore on Friday, February 7.

The incident happened at around and involved a black Ford S-Max which left the and collided with a tree.

Christopher was the driver of the , while Terence was a front seat passenger.

No one else was in the vehicle and no other vehicles were involved in the horror crash.

The road was closed for around eight hours after the crash to allow for an investigation to be conducted.

Sergeant Alasdair Mackay, of Highland and Islands , said: “Our thoughts remain with the families of both men at this time.

"We are continuing with enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this incident.

"The car was travelling west in the direction of Aviemore before the collision and we would ask anyone who may have seen it on the road or who has information which has not yet been passed on to come forward.

"This includes anyone who may have footage or private CCTV from a business or property in the area.

"Anyone who can help can contact police by calling 101 and quoting incident 4537 of Friday, 7 February."
