Two men have died after a collision in Whitefield overnight.
Officers were called to reports of a collision on Bury Old Roadshortly after 1.30am this morning.
A silver Vauxhall Astra had collided with a road sign, resulting in the car hitting a nearby wall.
There were two men in the car, one of whom sadly died at the scene.
The second man was taken to hospital and despite the best efforts of emergency staff, was also sadly pronounced dead a short time later.

Police are asking anyone with information or dash cam footage of the car to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 0161 856 4741 or 101, quoting incident 288 of 06/10/2019.
