Two men charged after hit and run leaves man in serious condition in Aberdeen

Two men have been charged in connection with a hit and run that left a pedestrian in a serious condition in Aberdeen .

Emergency services rushed to Powis Terrace at the junction with Bedford Road at around 2.30pm on Monday, November 25.

A 66-year-old man was rushed to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary , where he remains with serious chest and leg injuries.

One man, 22, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Wednesday afternoon in connection with road traffic offences.

A 33-year-old man is due to appear at the same court on Thursday, also in connection with road traffic offences.

Road Policing Inspector Steve Manson said: “The road was closed for some time while we carried out our investigations and we would like to say thank the public for their patience and also to all those who came forward following our appeal for witnesses.”
