Two killed, three hurt in road accident

Kota: Two persons were killed and three others sustained injuries in an accident with an unidentified vehicle, police said here on Thursday.

The accident took place late on Wednesday night when an unidentified vehicle rammed the car in which they were travelling on the Kota-Devli-Manji state highway under here, police added.

Five friends, identified as Rajendra Dhakar (30), Durgesh Mehar (36), Bharatraj Dhakar, Lalchand Kumawat and Nandbihari Dhakad, all residents of Kanwas in Kota district, were returning home from a marriage party when the accident took place near Galana village around 10 pm, ASI Ram Prakesh Meena said.

Rajendra Dhakar and Durgesh Mehar were killed on the spot.

The injured were rushed to MBS Hospital for treatment, the ASI added.
