Two booked for duping Indore man of Rs 66 lakh

INDORE: Two persons were booked for duping an Indore resident of over Rs 66 lakh on pretext of doubling the amount through investment.

The police said that the victim Manoj Nagarkar lodged a complaint that two persons--- Rajendra Singh Jadaun and Shiv Rajput had contacted him on Jan 27 and told him that they would double his money by investing it in business.

He fell in their trap and gave them Rs 66.70 lakh, the police said. Later, the accused neither doubled his money nor returned it.

Police station in-charge Anil Sharma said that the accused were booked under section 420, 409, 34 of IPC and section 76 of Chit Fund act for fraud, and they were searching for them.
