Two Arrested In Colorado After Discovery Of Children's Remains

Corena Rose Minjarez and Jesus Dominguez facing murder and abuse of corpse charges.

Authorities in Pueblo, Colorado, have made two arrests in connection with a disturbing case involving the discovery of children's remains. Corena Rose Minjarez, 36, and Jesus Dominguez, 35, are facing charges of murder and abuse of a corpse.

The investigation began when police found a girl's body encased in concrete in a storage unit that was being cleared out due to unpaid rent. The remains were discovered last month, sparking a search for two missing children, Jesus Dominguez Jr. and Yesenia Dominguez, who were last seen in the summer of 2018.

Surprisingly, the children had not been reported missing prior to the investigation. Further developments led authorities to a vehicle owned by Minjarez in a scrap yard, where a boy's remains were found in a suitcase in the trunk of the car. DNA testing confirmed that the remains belonged to the missing siblings.

Details about the relationship between the victims and the suspects have not been disclosed by the police. Both Minjarez and Dominguez are currently being held on a $2 million bond, with court hearings scheduled for Wednesday.

As of now, no attorneys have been identified for the accused individuals. The case continues to unfold as authorities work to uncover more details surrounding this tragic incident.
