Two men have been arrested after a large quantity of cannabis was seized from a car in Clondalkin.
Gardai were alerted to the drugs after they smelled them in the car they stopped around 5 pm yesterday.
A search produced a €100,000 of suspected cannabis herb.
A further €40,000 worth of cannabis and a small quantity of suspected cocaine was found during a follow-up search of a premises in Ballyfermot.
A garda spokesman said: "Two men, both in their 20s were arrested as a result. They are currently being detained under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Clondalkin Garda station.
"Investigations ongoing."
