The Tennessee Titans have punched their ticket to the postseason and won the AFC South thanks to their dominant 34-3 win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 17.
This is the first time in the Titans era that the team has won back-to-back division titles, and the franchise hasn’t accomplished that feat since the Houston Oilers won three straight in the AFL from 1960-62.
With the victory, the Titans also moved back into the No. 1 seed in the AFC thanks to the Kansas City Chiefs’ loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. The Titans now control their own destiny for a first-round bye and can secure it with a win over the Houston Texans next Sunday.
