TV on DVD: 'Lucifer: Season 3'; 'The Terror'

'LUCIFER: SEASON 3.' Fox's final season, yes, but Netflix will extend Tom Ellis' hell-lord crimefighting adventures with Tom Welling. The two Toms talk in featurettes, Comic-Con panel. List price: $40 DVD/$48 Blu-ray, out this week from Warner.

'THE TERROR.' AMC keeps getting creepy in this 19th century Northwest Passage thriller, with brief promo extras (anthology series gets a new tale for season 2); $25 DVD/$30 Blu, Lionsgate.

'THE DAY AFTER.' A nuclear holocaust hits home in ABC's potent 1983 Cold War what-if film (seen at the time by 100 million Americans!). Jason Robards plays a Kansas doctor coping with deadly fallout, alongside JoBeth Williams, John Cullum and John Lithgow, as directed by Nicholas Meyer (fresh off "Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan"). Two-disc set includes both TV version and widescreen extended feature cut, new interviews with Meyer/Williams, historical commentary; $20 DVD/$30 Blu, Kino.
