Donald Trump likes to portray himself as a physically fit and capable man. While there are plenty of people his age who are healthy, it’s no use trying to hide from the facts. The president has got some health issues, and they’re not exactly hard to spot.
Many already have spotted this tell tale sign that something is wrong with Trump. If you look at his ankles during his appearance at the FIFA world cup, it’s hard to miss as they appear swollen. The president’s ankles almost look as though they are spilling out of his shoes.
People on the internet have already drawn attention to the president’s medical issue. One person posted a video on X comparing the ankles of other presidents to Donald Trump and the difference is night and day.

This wasn’t the only problem people noticed. Trump also had a mysterious bruise on his hand which someone had attempted to cover up with make up. This raised even more questions.
What is wrong with Donald Trump?
In a rare case of honesty the White House actually addressed the situation, Trump was probably just happy that the public are focusing on something not to do with Jeffrey Epstein for once. Anyways, according to spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt, the swollen ankles and bruised hand are the result of something known as “chronic venous insufficiency.”
Leavitt explained that the president had noticed some “mild swelling” in his legs and had sought medical advice from the White House medical unit who diagnosed him with the condition.
According to Cleveland Clinic, chronic venous insufficiency occurs when “leg veins become damaged and can’t work as they should.” This causes blood to pool in your legs and usually leads to swelling in the area as blood can’t be pumped back up properly.
It’s a fairly common condition, reportedly affecting 1 in 20 adults. It’s not considered a life-threatening condition although it can lead to complications that could potentially be fatal. Leavitt also made a point to clarify that there was no evidence to suggest that Trump had something more serious such as deep vein thrombosis or arterial disease.
The internet responds
Of course, if this were happening to any other president the MAGA supporters would likely have leapt at the chance to take a few shots, remember how brutal they were towards Joe Biden? Now it seems the shoe is on the other (more swollen) foot and Trump’s detractors are pointing out his health condition.
One person wrote, “he looks like he’s wearing invisible ankle weights,” another claimed they had seen many ankles like this during their time working in a cardiac unit, they added the hashtag, “#TrumpIsInPoorHealth.”
Earlier this year Trump had boasted about the results of his cognitive test, proclaiming how he got every answer right. The president and his administration often like to present him as some sort of Superman, but this latest diagnosis shows that he is anything but.
