Thousands of people joined a march to the Bardo Museum in Tunis on Sunday in response to an attack there 11 days ago in which 21 foreign tourists and one policeman were killed. French president, François Hollande joined Tunisian president, Beji Caid Essebsi and other politicians and dignitaries from the Middle East, Africa and Europe for a ceremony at the museum.
The march was organised by the Tunisian government to rally international support for the country and to raise the morale of Tunisians increasingly concerned by extremist violence in their country.
If you took part on the march we would like to hear from you. Do you feel that it’s important to show national unity at this time? What hopes – or concerns do you have for the future? We will publish the most interesting contributions on the Guardian site.
