TUI confirmed its making a huge change to face mask rules in the UK - but it won't apply to everyone.
Face masks will no longer be a legal requirement on TUI airways flights heading to and from England and Northern Ireland in line with recent government updates.
However, people on flights to and from Wales and Scotland will still be required to wear a mask throughout their journey unless medically exempt.
The move follows recent announcements from Ryanair and Jet2 who scrapped the need to wear masks after most airlines brought in the rule during the height of the pandemic.
The Scottish Government is set to scrap the legal requirement of face masks from March 21, while the Welsh Government will end legal rules on March 28.

TUI issued a statement on its website and stated: "From Friday 11th March, face masks will no longer be a legal requirement on TUI Airways flights to/from England and Northern Ireland , however in line with UK government and EU Charter guidance, we strongly recommend that you still wear a mask throughout your flight.
"Under current guidance, it is still mandatory for customers aged 12 and above travelling on TUI Airways to/from Wales and Scotland to wear a mask throughout their flight unless medically exempt.
"It’s important to note that you may still be required to wear a mask when leaving the aircraft and once inside the airport at your arrival destination.
"It is mandatory for customers aged two and above travelling to the USA on TUI Airways to wear a mask throughout their flight. Please remember to carry evidence if you are medically exempt.
"It is mandatory for all customers aged six and over travelling to Italy on TUI Airways to wear an FFP2 mask throughout their flight. Please remember to carry evidence if you are medically exempt."
For those in Wales or Scotland, TUI urged people to make sure they provide proof that they are medically exempt from wearing a mask in case they are not allowed to fly. It also urged people who have any coronavirus symptoms not to fly.
