TUI have confirmed the 19 destinations they will fly to from May 17, when international travel is allowed to resume.
The holiday company will operate trips to 19 destinations when holidays are allowed to start again next Monday.
Destinations will be categorised as either green, amber or red from next week, with each category carrying a different set of restrictions, with some big differences on quarantine rules.
There are currently 12 destinations on the green list, but holiday companies might not operate trips to all the destinations on the list and some are offering trips to amber countries - reports North Wales Live.
In an update shared on Friday, TUI confirmed that it'll operate holidays "to a number of destinations" categorised as green and amber, including to popular locations like Tenerife and Crete.
The travel provider said it will operate holidays to the Algarve, Madeira and Porto Santo - all in Portugal - with the country currently classified as 'green' on the UK Government's travel list.
Additionally, it revealed that "the following holidays categorised amber will operate as planned" as well:
- Crete
- Kos
- Rhodes
- Corfu
- Zante
- Malta
- Lanzarote
- Fuerteventura
- Gran Canaria
- Tenerife
- La Palma
- St Lucia
- Antigua
- Barbados
- Grenada
- Cuba
TUI has announced that it will only be flying from a handful of airports between May 17 and 27 - namely Manchester Airport, Gatwick Airport, Birmingham Airport and Bristol Airport.
And in its latest update, the travel provider added: "All Red destinations and Amber destinations where the government advise against all but essential travel, are cancelled up to and including 6 June 2021."
Customers affected by the latest cancellations will be "contacted directly" and they'll "be able to request a full cash refund, or to change to a later date or alternative holiday and receive a booking incentive."
This is understood to include holidays to the likes of Costa Rica, Croatia, Egypt and Cape Verde due to depart before June 7, which were part of a list of cancelled trips released by the travel provider previously.
TUI has extended its free changes policy to include bookings up to the end of October. Changes can be made through Manage My Booking, in a TUI store or by calling 0203 4512688 - though deadlines apply.
Passengers whose destination changes to 'amber' within 14 days of travel will be able to amend their booking up until the day before their scheduled departure.
TUI said: "If we need to cancel any future holidays because of updated Government guidance, we will be in touch with you directly and will aim to give you at least 7 days' notice."
