Trump urges gas stations to slash prices before Fourth of July

Donald Trump

President Donald Trump urged gas stations to cut fuel prices ahead of the Fourth of July as part of the nation's America 250 celebrations.
On Truth Social, Trump said oil prices were "plummeting" and argued gas prices should be falling faster at the pump.
He praised a Philadelphia-based gas station chain for offering discounted fuel prices and encouraged other retailers to follow its lead.
During a visit to North Dakota to open the new Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library, Trump donated Theodore Roosevelt's Medal of Honor to the museum.
At the event, Trump joked that he deserved a Medal of Honor himself, saying he asked his sons what he had done to earn one, but "they couldn't think of anything."
