Donald Trump attended a Yankee game in New York on Thursday, commemorating September 11th, where he received a mixed reception from the crowd.
The president's appearance at Yankee Stadium followed an earlier 9/11 event at the Pentagon, where he spoke about the murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
Charlie Kirk, a 31-year-old leader of Turning Point USA, was murdered by a single gunshot at Utah Valley University.
Trump was seated behind bulletproof glass at the game, a precaution likely implemented following Kirk's fatal shooting.
Vice President JD Vance skipped a New York 9/11 memorial to fly to Utah and return Kirk's body to Arizona.
