Trump in 'overall' good health despite adding pounds, his doctor says

A 4-pound weight gain over the past year has put President Donald Trump over the line into obesity, according to updated medical information released by the White House.

Dr. Sean P. Conley, his physician, deemed Trump's health overall very good, but Politico noted that his weight of 243 _ up 4 pounds from last year's 239 _ puts him over the line into obesity.

Trump's physical exam on Friday underwent a thorough annual check-up that included 11 specialists, according to Conley.

"After taking into account all the laboratory results, examinations and specialist recommendations, it is my determination that the President remains in very good health overall," the doctor wrote in a memo.

However, Politico noted, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's official definition of obesity is a body mass index of 30.0 or higher, and Trump's is now 30.4.
