Trump admin’s latest trademark gives glimpse into president’s newest venture

The Trump Organization has filed new trademark applications for logos intended for America's 250th birthday celebrations, aiming to place President Donald Trump at the forefront.
Submitted by DTTM Operations LLC, the designs include Trump 250 and a logo featuring fighter jets with Trump's name, slated for use on merchandise like bumper stickers, T-shirts, and golf balls.
Separately, the Kennedy Center's Board of Trustees filed a trademark application for The Trump Kennedy Center logo, suggesting its use on various commercial items.
These filings align with President Donald Trump's established practice of branding commercial ventures and public institutions with his name, a trend that has accelerated recently.
Planned 250th-anniversary events also include a UFC bout, an INDYCAR race, a $100 million 'Arc de Trump,' and a 'Patriot Games' athletic event, alongside the public-private partnership Freedom 250.
