Trump Accountant Expected To Testify In Trial

Donald Trump to testify in New York civil fraud trial

During the trial, defense attorney Todd Blanche revealed that a Trump accountant is expected to testify. Blanche emphasized that the prosecutors are not alleging any wrongdoing on the part of the Trump Organization accounting department employee who handled the Michael Cohen payment records.

Blanche assured jurors that President Trump was not directly involved in the specific transactions detailed in the 34 ledger entries, except for signing the checks. He emphasized that Trump should not be held criminally responsible for actions taken by Cohen years after the fact.
