Workers have successfully recovered a truck from the site of the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse in the Patapsco River. However, there is still at least one vehicle hanging from metal debris, as reported by the Associated Press. Governor Moore highlighted the challenging conditions the divers are facing, operating in darkness with limited visibility and navigating through mangled metal debris. Their dedication and bravery in such perilous circumstances have been truly remarkable.
The search continues for the six construction workers who are presumed to have lost their lives in the bridge collapse. Among the missing individuals is 49-year-old Miguel Luna from El Salvador, who reportedly has six children. Additionally, two Guatemalan workers, aged 26 and 35, are also unaccounted for, according to their country's foreign ministry. A colleague mentioned that the six workers were sitting in their trucks during a break when the disaster struck.
