A pedestrian was mowed down by a truck in Fife that crashed into a wall.
Emergency services rushed to Station Road in Lochgelly on Monday morning.
The alarm was raised just after 10am.
An image shared with the Daily Record shows part of a brick wall destroyed amid the chaos of the crash while a cop and passerby look on.
The white motor had visibly crashed through the structure.
Locals claimed on social media that the smash took place not far from St Patrick's Primary School.
Police said that there are not believed to be any life-threatening injuries at this stage, as a result of the smash.
The circumstances surrounding the incident were not disclosed.
The pedestrian's current medical condition is yet to be confirmed.
A Police Scotland spokesperson told the Record: "Police were called just after 10am on Monday, May 17 following reports of a road crash involving a truck and a pedestrian on Station Road, Lochgelly.
"Emergency services attended.
"There does not appear to be any life-threatening injuries at this stage."
