TRS and BJP govts failed to implement many promises: Cong MLA T Jagga Reddy

HYDERABAD: Telangana Congress working president and MLA T Jayaprakash Jagga Reddy on Saturday alleged that both TRS and BJP were working like pro-corporate political parties with both the TRS and BJP governments not implementing many of its promises made to the people in the last eight years.

"Narendra Modi had promised 2 crore jobs per year and promised to bring back black money and deposit Rs 15 lakh in the bank accounts of the poor. He failed to do so. On the other hand, the prices of gas, diesel, petrol and other essential commodities have sky-rocketed and GST has been imposed on even food items used by comoonman in their daily lives," he said.

Likewise, the TRS government has not filled up 2 lakh vacancies in the state government sector. The KCR-government has not implemented in toto the crop loan waiver promises, has not extended Aasara pensions to people aged between 57 and 65 years.

"But both the TRS and BJP governments and the parties have become experts in diverting the attention of people from their failures. They have conspired to finish off the Congress and are playing dramas to achieve their plan. But the Congress will bounce back with much stronger force, he said.

Allegations and counter allegations, personal attacks and counter attacks, isuse of central and state investigative agencies by the TRS and BJP governments are all part of a well-planned conspiracy to sideline their failures and keep Congress out of news, he alleged.
