Tropical Storm Karen could weaken to depression later on Monday: NHC

(Reuters) - Tropical Storm Karen may weaken to a tropical depression or degenerate into an open wave later on Monday, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) said in its latest advisory.

Karen is located about 155 miles (250 kilometers) south of St. Croix, packing maximum sustained winds of 40 miles per hour, the Miami-based weather forecaster said on Monday.
