TRNSMT kicks off today - here's the weather and what's happening this weekend

The wait is over... TRNSMT is finally here!

Thousands of music fans are set to descend on Glasgow Green on Friday, Saturday and Sunday as headliners such as Stormzy, Gerry Cinnamon, George Ezra and Lewis Capaldi take to the stage.

The big festival kicks off in the city tonight with Stormzy, who hit headlines for his powerful, politically charged set at Glastonbury last month.

Catfish and the Bottlemen will wrap up tomorrow night's event – with George Ezra and Scottish man of the moment Lewis Capaldi topping the bill on Sunday.

Weather-wise, we seem to be in luck today: Dry, with sunny spells after a misty staer – and a temperature of 22 °C.

Tomorrow is set to be bright with warm sunny spells and light winds and temperatures of 21C... But be prepared, because there's a chance of the odd shower in the afternoon.

Sunday is set to be better – with temperatures of 22C and sunshine predicted for the whole afternoon!
