TRNSMT issues payment and re-entry warning ahead of Glasgow Green festival

TRNSMT is set to take place between July 7 and the 9th and with it being less than a month until it's all set to happen, preparations are underway behind the scenes.

However whilst the organisers, artists and Glasgow City Council are checking things off their to do list and planning the next steps, the public have been warned that they also need to be prepared.

And there's a warning on their website when it comes to purchasing the likes of food and drinks when you step inside Glasgow Green.

On their website under 'cashless' the music festival warns: "TRNSMT is a fully cashless site so bars and food stalls will only accept contactless or chip and pin."

So if you have cash, they will be unable to accept this. In another warning they also say: "You cannot leave and re-enter the festival once you are in and your ticket has been scanned."

This means that if you bring cash and no other ways to pay, you may find yourself in a tough spot with you also being unable to leave to collect your card.

So make sure you are prepared well in advance.
