Tricky brain teaser challenges you to spot the hidden gloves in 11 seconds

Brain teasers are a great way to challenge yourself and your observational skills - but they aren't always as easy as they seem. Over the past few weeks, the Daily Record has tested out your problem-solving capabilities with some baffling brain teasers.

One challenged you to find the hidden ballerina and another tricked your brain into thinking these petrol pumps are changing colours. Now we've got a brand new one that judges how quickly you can suss out an image and spot something hidden in the background - and if you find it quickly, you've got high levels of intelligence.

The Mirror reports that a recent illusion released by the website JagranJosh shows a crowded party scene where people are sat around a table about to tuck into some dinner. The illusion challenges you to find a pair of white gloves which are hiding somewhere in the scene, but they are not easy to spot.

If you can hunt them out in 11 seconds or less, then you could be in the top two per cent for IQ, according to the site. This is because brain teaser and optical illusions can be a handy way to find out how your brain works to solve problems.

If you're struggling to find the gloves within the image, try casting a glance to the right hand side and really look closely at the table. The answer is circled in the image below, so don't scroll down if you haven't solved it yet and want to avoid spoilers.

If you managed to find them within 11 seconds, you're said to have a 'high IQ' (Bright Side)

In the image you can see that the gloves are circled right by the big water jug on the table near the person on the far right-hand side. So if you have a go make sure to time yourself and see how quickly you were able to track them down.
