The loved ones of a "truly amazing" 15-year-old Scots girl who died suddenly are fundraising for a memorial to give school friends a place of comfort.
Paige Lloyd died on July 18, 2021, just weeks before she was expected to start her fourth year at Smithycroft Secondary School in Glasgow.
Devastated family and friends of the popular teenager are fundraising to create to memorials in Paige's memory.
Loved ones hope a school memorial will give her young friends a place of comfort.
As well as a school memorial, loved ones want a memorial bench, tree and plaque at Hogganfield Park, where the teenager spent time with her family.
Any funds left over will be donated to suicide awareness charities in honour of Paige.
A post on the Go Fund Me read: "On the 18th of July 2021 our hearts broke in two at the tragic and sad passing of Paige, a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter cousin and friend to so many.
"Paige was a beautiful, loving, and much loved 15-year-old girl who was just about to go into her 4th year at Smithycroft Secondary School where she was a popular pupil. Paige had the biggest heart and is dearly missed by all.
"Many people from the community, parents and staff of Smithycroft Secondary School have been asking that we try to do something to commemorate her young life and in response to those requests this go fund me page has been set up to raise funds to do just that.
"The hope is to raise enough money to organise a memorial in the school and also a memorial bench, tree and plaque to place in Hogganfield Park where Paige enjoyed many outings and long walks with her family and friends. A place that holds many special moments and memories.
"This memorials will provide a place of comfort and reflection for her family, friends and all who knew her but most importantly a place to remember Paige and the truly amazing girl that she was."
The statement added: "I have no doubt that together we can make this happen and honour the memory of our Precious Paige - who will be Forever Young!"
Almost £700 of the £3,000 target has been raised in 24 hours.
