Trey Songz 'meets with police' after allegedly punching two people in bowling alley

Trey Songz is reportedly 'communicating with police' in New York after allegedly 'punching two people inside a bowling alley'.

The musician, 38, is said to have 'met law enforcement' last month after he was accused of 'hitting a man and a woman in the face, leaving one person hospitalised'.

The alleged ordeal is said to have taken place back in October before Trey, real name Tremaine Aldon Neverson, visited a police station, reports TMZ.

One woman was allegedly punched in the face in the bathroom of the bowling alley, the outlet reports. A man claims Trey punched him in the eye, he reportedly refused medical help.

"We have been proactively communicating with NY law enforcement, the DA, and all those involved," Trey's attorney Mitch Schuster told TMZ.

"While we will respectfully and proactively work through all the appropriate channels we are confident that Trey will be fully cleared of any wrong doing."

The Mirror has contacted Trey's representatives and attorney for a comment.

Trey had his first career break back in 2004 with his album I Gotta Make It. He quickly rose to success at the time and began working with R Kelly on his second album.

Named Trey Day, the studio album featured his single Can’t Help But Wait, which featured in the movie soundtrack for Step Up 2: The Streets.

It was that successful that the single reached number 14 on the Hot 100 list and remains Trey's most successful solo track to date.

His album Ready was nominated for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance at the Grammys in 2009 and he collaborated with Nicki Minaj on the track Bottoms Up.

As well as music, Trey has also dabbled in acting as he starred alongside Paula Patton and Jennifer Lewis in the comedy movie Baggage Claim.

He also made a guest appearance in Texas Chainsaw, directed by John Luessenhop.
