Travis Scott faces investigation for Covid rule-break after being mobbed by fans

Travis Scott reportedly faces an investigation for a possible Covid rule-break after he greeted a flood of fans.

The rapper's fans bombarded the star at a surprise pop-up shop at a newsstand in West Hollywood where he was promoting his new i-D Magazine cover.

His followers hoped to get a glimpse of the hitmaker and perhaps even an autograph on Tuesday after Travis revealed his location on social media, despite the coronavirus pandemic.

LA's Dept. of Public Works plan to talk with the City Attorney's office about taking action including a potential fine, TMZ reported.

It's said the city did not give Kylie Jenner's on/off boyfriend a permit for the unofficial event on Tuesday.

The city has reportedly been holding off giving permits for non-essential gatherings amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The Mirror has approached Travis' representative for further comment.

In the cover story of the i-D Magazine edition he was promoting, Travis opened up about being a father to his daughter Stormi with his ex Kylie Jenner.

The dad-of-one said "fatherhood" directly influences his job and inspires his music.

In a rare interview on his family, Travis admitted "I don't live for myself anymore" as he said he lives for his daughter Stormi.

"Fatherhood influences my job," he told the magazine.

"It's a major inspiration, you know what I'm saying? Especially Storm, she's just acting like a kid. She's always interested, she catches on and learns things and adapts to things so fast."

He went on: "Kids show you a different outlook on life, how they view things, the type of pressures they have and what makes them happy, what makes them move. Like, when she watches certain movies or listen to certain songs. Or she watches my concerts on YouTube and she realizes she's there, she's ready to see now.

"I realized my job is way more important than what I thought because of her. More responsibility, you know? You've got to use that properly."

Recently, he teamed up with his ex Kylie to throw Stormi her third birthday party.

The bash was incredibly lavish with food trucks and slides for those in attendance to enjoy.
