Travis Kelce references Taylor Swift in Super Bowl introduction video

In a delightful show of affection, Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs' tight end, made a cheeky nod to his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, during the team's introduction video for the 2024 Super Bowl. As the montage of clips played, Kelce slyly asked viewers, 'Are you ready for it?' - a direct quote from Swift's 2017 hit song '...Ready for It?' And to add to the charm, Kelce couldn't resist a wink, clearly aware of the significance.

Fans couldn't contain their excitement as Kelce included Swift in the video, taking to social media to express their glee over the not-so-subtle moment. 'Yes boo coming through with the Taylor reference,' one enthusiastic Swiftie wrote. Another fan shared, 'I literally screamed when he said it.' Yet another viewer enthused, 'Oh, he's an icon, WE STAN.'

It is worth noting that Kelce referenced a song from Swift's album 'Reputation,' which has sparked speculation among fans that she might be planning to re-release that album soon. Swift herself has also given a nod to Kelce during her November 2023 Eras Tour by altering the lyrics to her song 'Karma' during a performance in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She cleverly modified the lyrics to say, 'Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me,' showcasing her support for her beloved beau.

Swift made sure to be present at Super Bowl LVIII to cheer on Kelce, accompanied by her mother, Andrea Swift, as well as friends Blake Lively and Ice Spice. This marked her 13th time watching Kelce play, a number that Swifties hope would bring extra luck to the Chiefs as they faced off against the San Francisco 49ers. Notably, the last time these two teams battled it out in the Super Bowl was in 2020, resulting in a victory for the Kansas City Chiefs at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

Swift's arrival in Las Vegas came just 24 hours after she wrapped up four consecutive Eras Tour shows in Tokyo. Her presence at the Super Bowl only added to the excitement surrounding the event, and fans eagerly awaited to see what other surprises would unfold throughout the evening.

It's clear that Kelce and Swift's relationship continues to be a source of joy for fans who appreciate their shared love for each other and their respective crafts. And with their ongoing support for one another, it's evident that this power couple will continue to make headlines in both the music and sports worlds.
