Transfer news, rumours - LIVE: Liverpool target second signing, Real Madrid chase Mauricio Pochettino, Manchester United, Gareth Bale, Arsenal, Spurs and more

The Premier League’s summer transfer window is open with Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal set to be busier than ever.

Liverpool enjoyed success in the Champions League this year and their quest to end their league title drought in 2019 will be bolstered by the arrival of Naby Keita from RB Leipzig. He will not be the last new face on Merseyside, however, with Monaco's Fabinho already in. Lyon's Nabil Fekir is next on Jurgen Klopp's hitlist. At United Jose Mourinho looks set to spend big again as he targets reinforcements in his bid to haul in record-breaking Manchester City next season. A new left-back and central midfield player are high on his list with a big money move for Real Madrid's Gareth Bale not out the question. Could Cristiano Ronaldo join him?

For the first time in over two decades Arsenal head into the offseason with a new manager at the helm. That man is former PSG boss Unai Emery after a stunning 11th hour change of heart at the Emirates and he already has a new signing in his sights. Chelsea could well be looking for a new manager themselves but across London Mauricio Pochettino won't be leaving Tottenham Hotspur after signing a new five-year deal.

We will have all the latest news, views, rumours, gossip and done deals right here so don't touch that dial.

Oli McBurnie is keen for Steven Gerrard to be a success at Rangers whether or not the Scotland striker is recruited to help the Ibrox cause.

The 21-year-old Swansea forward, Leeds-born but a big Gers fan through his Scottish father Neil, was linked with a move to the Govan club in January when Graeme Murty was in charge before going on loan to Barnsley and is reportedly a target for the new Light Blues boss.

McBurnie will return to Swansea for pre-season training but admits his future is "up in the air" as the Swans are managerless after they parted company with Carlos Carvalhal after their relegation from the Premier League.

"Me and my brother grew up as massive Rangers fans. I don't think we had any choice.

"But I am still contracted to Swansea, I have another year left and I need to get back and see what is happening.

"I will speak to Swansea when I come back from this trip, see what they want to do and what we want to do and take it from there.

"It is a bit up in the air at the minute. I don't think the club can let people go or bring people in without a manager being there.

"It is a waiting game, there is no rush. It is the uncertainty of football.

"It is exciting in a way but also its nervy. I could end up at Swansea, I could end up anywhere in the world but it is exciting."

Manchester City’s pursuit of Napoli midfielder Jorginho has hit somewhat of a roadblock after the club’s president Aurelio De Laurentiis revealed he has rejected a £44m bid.

The Italian has drawn a number of admiring gazes from Europe’s top clubs as his form helped Napoli run Juventus all the way in Serie A this season, but City emerged as the most likely suitors following talks between the three parties.

City were hoping to announce the midfielder next week, once Italy had concluded their end-of-season friendlies, but now that has been put in serious doubt as De Laurentiis is proving increasingly tough to negotiate with.
