Liverpool begin their pre-season preparations with a trip to Tranmere Rovers tonight as Jurgen Klopp's Champions League winners get ready for another big season.
Klopp's men were pipped to the post by Manchester City in a thrilling Premier League title race, but beating Tottenham to win the European Cup for a sixth time in the club's history was the perfect tonic.
Liverpool have made no secret of the fact that the English title will now be their priority for the 2019-20 campaign, and few would bet against them going all the way.
But for now, Klopp's side have to put in the hard yards over summer to get ready for what could be another long - and successful - season.
Liverpool face a short trip across the Mersey to Prenton Park tonight to face Tranmere, who are preparing for life in League One following their play-off triumph last season.
