The Railways would fully cancel three trains and partially cancel five trains on April 6 and 9 on account of track repair works at the Thrissur yard.
The trains that will be fully cancelled are 06017 Shoranur-Ernakulam MEMU train, 06449 Ernakulam-Alappuzha unreserved express special train and 06452 Alappuzha-Ernakulam unreserved express special train, said a Railway release.
The partially cancelled trains are 16342 Thiruvananthapuram-Guruvayur Intercity Express and 16341 its return train, which will not operate beyond Ernakulam.
Similarly, 16187 Ernakulam Express from Karaikal will end its service at Vadakkancherry, while 16127 Chennai Egmore-Guruvayur Express will end its service at Ernakulam and 12684 Banaswadi-Ernakulam Superfast will end its service at Mulankunnathukavu.
