Trafford Golf Centre and Dino Falls temporarily close due to COVID-19 cases

Trafford Golf Centre and Dino Falls have been shut due to coronavirus.

Bosses say the entire facility has been closed after the discovery of a 'some Covid-19 cases connected to the site'.

A statement post on Trafford Golf Centre's website said: "From 18th July 2020, Trafford Golf Centre and Dino Falls Adventure Golf are now closed until further notice following the discovery of some Covid-19 cases connected to the site.

"We have notified the relevant health authorities and are taking the appropriate steps to prevent further transmission.

"Customer and employee safety is our highest priority.

"We apologise for any inconvenience to our customers.

"Anyone who has pre-booked to visit Dino Falls Adventure Golf will receive a cancellation email.

"We will advise on our plans for reopening in due course."

It's not clear how many cases have been reported to the golf centre or who has fallen ill with the virus.

The Manchester Evening News has contacted Trafford Council for a response.

Under Government guidelines, anyone who is potentially affected by a coronavirus outbreak should be contacted by the NHS Test and Trace service.
