Traffic comes to a standstill in Paisley's west end after road incident

A section of Paisley's west end came to a standstill this afternoon after an accident involving a bus and a pedestrian.

PAISLEY DAILY EXPRESS: Live news as it happens

Passersby were quick to try and help the injured person and paramedics were swiftly on the scene in Well Street.

The bus involved was the No64 to Gallowhill service.

Someone who lives in the neighbourhood said it caused traffic chaos and drivers could not move up or down Well Street in the aftermath.
