An ongoing police incident and multi-vehicle crash has sparked travel chaos for Scots on the M90.
Traffic Scotland warned motorists of a 'police incident' at around 6:15am on Friday morning, November 5.
A statement read: "Both slip roads from the M90 to the A823 currently blocked due to a police incident. Take care on the approach."
One passing driver reported 'police are everywhere' at the scene.
Another said the incident had been ongoing since the early hours of the morning.
The nature of the incident remains unclear. It's not yet known if anyone has been injured.
Traffic Scotland later updated drivers to make them aware of a separate incident following an early morning smash.
The multi-vehicle collision is blocking one lane on the M90 heading southbound at J2.
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
