There was traffic chaos on a busy Scots motorway this morning after a driver had taken unwell.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of the incident, which occurred on the M74 close to the Laurieston area of Glasgow at around 7.35am.
The driver was transferred into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service, according to Police Scotland.
Their condition is unknown.
Lane three was initially blocked northbound between Junction 1 and Junction 1a as a result of the incident.
Traffic was slow around Junction 4 with an approximate wait time of 55 minutes, according to Traffic Scotland.
While the lane later reopened at around 8.49am, the travel time around Junction 4 increased to roughly 65 minutes.
