The Premier League transfer window remains in full swing - and it’s not just Chelsea who are getting deals done this summer.
Spurs will be hoping to get back into the top four having settled for Europa League qualification last term.
But to do that, they will likely have to make good use of the summer transfer window.
With that in mind, here are today’s big transfer stories surrounding the White Hart Lane club.
De Vega bid
Tottenham will need to up their bid for Barcelona youngster Lucas de Vega if they are to land the Brazilian this summer.
That is according to Spanish publication AS, who claim that Spurs have made a move for the 20-year-old, offering Barca around £2million to sign him on a permanent deal.
The report goes on to add that Barcelona are happy to keep the 20-year-old, but could sell for over £7m. Sporting Gijon, Malaga and Tenerife are also linked with De Vega.
Brewster blow
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp thinks that Rhian Brewster would be better off signing for Sheffield United than Tottenham Hotspur.
That is according to a report from the Sheffield Star, which claims Jurgen Klopp apparently feels that Bramall Lane could be the perfect environment for Brewster to learn.
Both Spurs and United have been linked with moves for the young forward, who could be made available on loan this summer.
Castagne setback
Leicester City are closing in on landing Tottenham Hotspur target Timothy Castagne.
That's according to a report by Football Insider who claim that, despite Castagne's interest in joining Spurs this term, it will be the Foxes who will win the race this summer.
The 24-year-old has two years left on his current deal at Atalanta but is expected to depart this summer at the right price.
