Tottenham transfer rumours: Milan Skriniar swap latest, Liverpool claim and Andrea Belotti deal

With little more than two months until the January transfer window opens, there is plenty of speculation doing the rounds.

The domestic transfer window only shut recently but, due to the quick turnaround between markets, clubs do not have long to wait until they are able to strengthen their squads again.

With that in mind, here are the latest Tottenham Hotspur transfer rumours...

Striker blow?

Torino are set to offer Andrea Belotti a new contract amid interest from Tottenham in the striker, according to reports.

The Italy international was linked with a move to Spurs during the summer transfer window.

Torino were said to want 80million euros for the 26-year-old, who ultimately ended up staying put for the time being.

Now, Calciomercato are reporting that Torino are looking to secure Belotti's services for the long-term with an improved deal.

His current contract is due to expire in 2022.

No swap deal

Inter Milan will reportedly not pursue a potential swap deal with Tottenham involving Tanguy Ndombele and Milan Skriniar.

Inter defender Skriniar has been heavily linked with Spurs and mooted as a possible January target for Jose Mourinho.

Meanwhile, the Italian club were said to be keen on Tottenham midfielder Ndombele, whose future at Spurs was looking uncertain at one point.

There was talk of a straight swap for the players, both apparently valued at 60million euros.

However, Calciomercato reports that Inter have now dropped their interest in Ndombele.

They apparently did not agree with Tottenham's valuation of the player and have less need for him following the signing of Arturo Vidal.

Liverpool 'would love Son'

Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher have claimed that Liverpool would love to sign Tottenham ace Son Heung-min.

Son has also started the current season in fine fashion, netting eight Premier League goals and delivering two assists - including the winner against Burnley on Monday evening - and will continue to be a key player in Tottenham's push for silverware under Jose Mourinho this campaign.

Speaking before Spurs' 1-0 victory at Turf Moor, Neville and Carragher paid tribute to the 28-year-old, admitting that any club would gladly take him in their side.

Former Liverpool defender Carragher reckons Son would comfortably get into Jurgen Klopp's side - as well as Manchester City's.

"If (Raheem) Sterling or (Sadio) Mane left one of those clubs you'd think Son would be one of the first players Pep Guardiola or Jurgen Klopp would go for," Carragher told Sky Sports.

Neville replied: "I absolutely agree and you said that if Mane or Salah was out for Liverpool and they could pick any player in the league it would be him (Son)."
