Tottenham predicted team vs Watford: Harry Kane starts as Nuno Espirito Santo makes tough call

kaneTottenham can take themselves to the top of the table as the only team in the Premier League to win their first three games this season if they can overcome Watford on Sunday afternoon.

Head coach Nuno Espirito Santo must decide whether Harry Kane is fit enough to start twice within three days.

The 28-year-old striker is fully back in the fold now after pledging his full focus to Tottenham this season and firing home two goals on his return to the starting line-up in midweek in the Europa Conference League play-off second leg against Pacos de Ferreira.

However, for Kane to return so one of the starting XI that has won back-to-back matches in the Premier League must step out of the team.

If it's on performances in the last Premier League game then Lucas Moura could step out of the team after Steven Bergwijn had the better showing at Wolves, although Espirito Santo is a fan of the Brazilian.

Cristian Romero had more injury issues following the win against Pacos de Ferreira in midweek so if he is fit to play some part then another bench role in the Premier League may still beckon.

Elsewhere few others pushed their claims enough to start in the Premier League, although Giovani Lo Celso will expect to get more minutes from the bench.

Here's the Tottenham team we reckon Espirito Santo could start against Watford:

4-3-3: Lloris; Tanganga, Sanchez, Dier, Reguilon; Skipp, Hojbjerg, Alli; Bergwijn, Kane, Son.
