Tottenham player ratings: Lucas Moura improves hugely as Sergio Reguilon and Hojbjerg down Leeds

Hugo Lloris

Comfortably held an early Phillips free-kick low to his right. No chance with James' point blank finish before the break but he denied the Welshman early in the second half with a smart save. 7

Japhet Tanganga

Got 68 minutes under his belt on the right of the back three. A solid display at the back on the whole but didn't get much chance to get forward as Conte likes his wide centre-backs to do. 6

Eric Dier

Forced into a quarterback role due to the absence of midfield creativity, he was firing numerous long balls over the top with only limited success. Had more success with his defending though, with little getting past him. At the other end it was his deflected free-kick on to the post that was turned home by Reguilon. 7

Ben Davies

Made an important interception in his box around the half hour mark and almost got through at the other end in the second half. Allowed James to get in behind him though for Leeds' first half goal. 6

Emerson Royal

Got into plenty of attacking areas and used the ball well on some of the occasions. Was beaten too easily by Harrison for Leeds' goal before the break. 6

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg

The Dane struggled in the first half and looked off the pace but he grew as the game wore on, pushing the team on, and he levelled the scores when his scuffed shot bounced into the net. 7

Harry Winks

Alongside Hojbjerg, the duo sat so deep in the first half that the midfield appeared non-existent. As with the Dane, he upped the tempo in the second half and was noticeably better. 6

Sergio Reguilon

The Spaniard struggled at times in the first half, losing James for Leeds' goal and missed a great chance to play Emerson in on goal, but he was another who improved markedly in the second period, with some good crosses and most importantly reacting first to fire home the loose ball from Dier's free-kick. 7

Lucas Moura

Struggled to keep possession of the ball in the first half but early in the second half he played his part in chances for Kane and Son. He continued to kick on and in a much, much better second period teed up Hojbjerg for the leveller and won the free-kick that led to Spurs' second. A different prospect in the second half and deservedly got a standing ovation from the fans when he went off. 8

Harry Kane

Forced into a playmaker role in the first half due to Spurs' lack of creativity. He had a big chance to score early in the second half but was denied by the goalkeeper. He worked hard and showed plenty of desire to battle for the ball, even without the service he deserves. Looked exhausted in the final stages. Not to his previous high standards in other seasons, but this was much better, he worked hard and often he was Spurs' sole avenue of creation. 7

Son Heung-min

Worked hard, with a few runs that troubled Leeds with some shots off target, including one that was deflected on to the crossbar. Not one of his best matches for Spurs but he looked a threat again at times. 6

Subs

Davinson Sanchez

Replaced Tanganga with just over 20 minutes to go and he won some big headers and made some crunching tackles. Won everything that came his way. 7

Ryan Sessegnon

His first Premier League appearance since January 2020. Got a couple of opportunities to attack and sling in some crosses. Will have done his confidence the world of good. 6

Dele Alli

Replaced Lucas late on. N/A
