Djed Spence has suffered a broken jaw following a collision with Liam Delap during Tottenham’s 2-1 defeat to Chelsea on Tuesday.
Standard Sport understands that Spence will be available to play in a protective mask in Tottenham’s final Premier League game of the season at home to Everton.
Spence was struck in the face by Delap’s elbow in the 87th minute, with the Chelsea forward given a yellow card by referee Stuart Atwell.
The Spurs full-back went down clutching his face but played on until full-time and later posted about the incident on social media.

Spence, who was a second-half substitute against Chelsea, has played 43 games in all competitions for Spurs this season.
The 25-year-old has, however, struggled to nail down a starting berth under Roberto De Zerbi, who has opted to play Destiny Udogie and Pedro Porro as his starting full-backs.
Spence has started just one of Spurs’ last six games but has been called up to England’s squad for this summer’s World Cup.
Spurs head into the final game of the season knowing that a win against Everton will keep them in the Premier League. A draw is also likely to be enough, given their superior goal difference compared to West Ham.
The north Londoners are two points clear of the relegation zone but would be relegated to the Championship if they lost to Everton and West Ham beat Leeds at the London Stadium.
