Tottenham have some work to do in the January transfer market if they're hoping to secure Champions League football next year.
Antonio Conte has openly declared that he wants to bring in players this month, with a host of names being linked to the club.
Spurs are just two-points behind north London rivals Arsenal and the coveted fourth-place spot, crucially holding two games in hand.
A significant battle does lie ahead in the second half of the season - with the teams set to meet this weekend.
There's a lot of talk about outgoing pieces of business this month, with Spurs being heavily linked with Wolverhampton Wandererrs winger Adama Traore.
The Athletic's Dean Jones previously reported that Spurs are preparing a move for Traore to fill a spot at wing-back.
Now, Jones claims that the club are confident a deal will materialise this month.
He said: "Adama is a player that they’ve admired for quite a long time and there’ll be some competition there for Tottenham, even though Tottenham are reasonably confident that they will conclude a deal for Traore."
Elsewhere, reported Spurs target Nahitan Nandez has been made available for £16million.
The Uruguayan midfielder has also been linked with a move to Juventus and Leeds United, with Calciomercato reporting that Spurs are interested.
His current club Cagaliari have set the asking price whilst also being open to loaning the player to Premier League sides.
Finally, Atletico Madrid are being linked with a move for Spurs midfielder Giovani Lo Celso.
The Argentine has struggled to settle in since his big money move from Real Betis and Spanish outlet Fichajes has reported that Atleti are considering bidding for the 25-year-old.
