Joe posted on the Plaice to Be Facebook page: "I have made the decisions to close on Tuesdays again until further notice due to serious rising costs the fish and chip industry and many others are facing just now.
"It is best for my business that we are open only on very busy days. I hope you all understand we will be open Wednesday to Sunday until further notice. Closed Monday and Tuesday.
"Thanks to all my customers who support us every week."
