Our list of the top-10 Georgia football players for 2019 has come to a close and at No. 1 we have offensive tackle Andrew Thomas.
Thomas has been considered a No. 1 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft by multiple analysts.
Thomas, a junior out of Lithonia, Georgia, came to Georgia in 2017. His first season he was named to the Freshman All-America Teams by ESPN, USA Today and the Football Writers Association of America. He played in all 15 games, making 15 starts as a true freshman at right tackle.
Last season, he started at left tackle in all games (13) in which he played. He earned SEC Offensive Line Co-Player of the Week honors after Georgia’s win at Kentucky, which the Bulldogs racked up a then-season-high 331 rushing yards.
